How are our rates calculated?
Travel
Travel within Brussels is included in the flat rates where this is explicitly stated.
For jobs in Flanders and Wallonia, any travel costs are calculated based on the location and communicated before the job.
Labour
Some flat rates include a first hour of work. When a job takes longer, the extra time is charged according to the actual duration of the work.
Materials
Parts, devices and specific supplies required for the work are charged separately unless they are explicitly listed as included in the flat rate.
No unpleasant surprises
When additional work is needed, you are informed beforehand whenever the situation allows the cost to be determined in advance.

The rate depends on the type of job, its duration, the materials required and how urgent it is. At KHOMELEC, a standard electrical call-out starts from €149 incl. VAT*, including travel within Brussels, diagnosis and the first hour of work.
For services explicitly marked “travel included”, travel within Brussels is included in the starting rate. For jobs in Flanders and Wallonia, any travel costs are calculated based on the location and communicated before the job.
Parts, electrical devices and specific equipment are generally charged separately, unless they are explicitly listed as included.
When the nature of the work can be determined in advance, a quote or estimate can be provided. For an electrical fault, the exact cost sometimes depends on the on-site diagnosis.
Yes, subject to availability. Urgent call-outs outside normal hours are charged at a specific rate.
Yes, for planned work when the information available allows a reliable estimate. A technical visit, an installation check or an in-depth diagnosis may, however, be chargeable when required.
